Novell Reportedly Planning Free Apps Store

Apparently it’s aimed mostly at the netbook market

Novell means to create an open source apps store chockablock with free software that can be uploaded in a click, according to PC Pro. The British publication talked to Novell's VP of business development Holger Dryoff. Apparently it's aimed mostly at the netbook market where Novell plans to have a SUSE edition of the open source Moblin operating system near and dear to Intel's heart. Presumably Novell figures the borrowed scheme will advance Moblin's fortunes against Microsoft.
