ATLANTA, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GeoVax Labs, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GOVX), an Atlanta-based HIV/AIDS vaccine development company, announced today that Mr. Andrew Kandalepas has resigned from his positions as Senior Vice President and Director of the Company.

Don Hildebrand, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GeoVax Labs, Inc., noted, "We all appreciate his dedication and service to the Company and thank Andy for his positive energy and enthusiasm." Mr. Kandalepas was Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dauphin Technology from 1995 until the merger with GeoVax, Inc., in September 2006, at which time he assumed the position of Senior Vice President and remained a director of the Company. Mr. Kandalepas has a varied 30-plus year career as an entrepreneur and executive manager. Mr. Kandalepas earned his Electronics Engineering Degree from DeVry Institute of Technology.
