BELLEVUE, Wash., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Likewise announced today that it is offering three starter packs that combine its Likewise Enterprise software with support and training services. The starter packs are designed to help customers move from its open source software to Likewise Enterprise.
Likewise Enterprise makes it easy for IT managers to authenticate users, control access to applications and data, centrally manage settings with group policies and create reports for regulatory audits. Likewise Enterprise is also the only solution to provide 100 percent native support for Apple's Workgroup Manager application.
Included in the starter packs are added support, upgrades and training services so customers can more easily take advantage of advanced features, such as group policy, auditing and reporting for systems integrated with Microsoft Active Directory.
"Likewise Open is the easiest way for organizations of all sizes to join their Linux, Unix and Mac systems to Active Directory," said Barry Crist, CEO of Likewise. "Our Likewise Enterprise starter packs make it simple to upgrade from Likewise Open for customers that require advanced features such as group policy, audit, reporting, and event management."
The three packaged solution offerings are:
- Likewise Enterprise desktop starter pack: 10 desktop licenses, 1-year support, half-day of training services for $1,608;
- Likewise Enterprise server starter pack: 10 server licenses, 1-year support, half-day of training services for $4,488;
- Likewise Enterprise combo starter pack: 5 desktop and 5 server licenses, 1-year support, half-day of training services for $3,048.
The company has a special fourth quarter promotion through January 31, 2010 that provides a 50 percent discount for each starter pack. For further information or to place an order, go to www.likewisestore.com.
