The Open Source Development Labs (OSDL) has hired Dave Rosenberg, LinuxWorld Expo’s programs director and an open source journalist, to fill a new post it's created as principal analyst. He will publish analyses of market trends, manage marcomm and generally evangelize.
Rosenberg is a wireless patent holder and was in charge of all of Comdex's content at one time, He came out of product marketing at Sprint and OmniSky and hails back to Bell Labs' Inferno Group, Bell's post-Unix operating system. He's reportedly still going to work for LinuxWorld Expo.
