Proginet Announces a New Version of the RocketStream File Transfer Acceleration Suite with free RocketStream Client

Proginet Corporation (OTCBB: PRGF), a world leader in multi-platform file transfer solutions, today announced RocketStream 1.6, an updated version of its ultra-fast file transfer acceleration software suite. RocketStream 1.6, which is now generally available, delivers key enhancements including native support for Windows 7, Mac OS X, and several popular Linux distributions. The Company also made several pricing related announcements including availability of a free RocketStream Client, radically lower price points for RocketStream Station and Server, and a limited-time, special incentive program for existing users to upgrade from previously-licensed versions of the software. Proginet acquired the RocketStream technology assets in December 2009, and develops and markets the RocketStream solution via Proginet Accelerator, Inc., a wholly-owned Proginet subsidiary.

“RocketStream is an integral component of Proginet’s strategy to continue pushing the boundaries of managed file transfer (MFT) technology and innovation,” stated Steve Flynn, Proginet’s Chief Operating Officer. “Our acquisition of this technology in December demonstrates our commitment to lead the market with innovation, and we have worked quickly and diligently to provide a new version with expanded operating system support we believe our customers need. Our new pricing strategy makes RocketStream a compelling purchase for any organization that needs to send large files at accelerated transfer speeds.”

“Existing users of the RocketStream software suite that are not Proginet customers can now future-proof their investment by upgrading to Proginet’s new release,” added Kevin Bohan, Proginet’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “By doing so, they’ll benefit from the stability and support of a recognized leader with more than twenty five years experience in the managed file transfer space. For a limited time, we’ll be offering special incentives for these companies. In addition, we are introducing a new model for how RocketStream is sold and deployed. Effective immediately, any customer who purchases a RocketStream Station or Server is entitled to unlimited free copies of the RocketStream Client software. This new model allows unlimited expansion of the solution at a low fixed cost,” he concluded.
