Proginet Announces a New Version of the RocketStream File Transfer Acceleration Suite with free RocketStream Client

Proginet Corporation (OTCBB: PRGF), a world leader in multi-platform file transfer solutions, today announced RocketStream 1.6, an updated version of its ultra-fast file transfer acceleration software suite. RocketStream 1.6, which is now generally available, delivers key enhancements including native support for Windows 7, Mac OS X, and several popular Linux distributions. The Company also made several pricing related announcements including availability of a free RocketStream Client, radically lower price points for RocketStream Station and Server, and a limited-time, special incentive program for existing users to upgrade from previously-licensed versions of the software. Proginet acquired the RocketStream technology assets in December 2009, and develops and markets the RocketStream solution via Proginet Accelerator, Inc., a wholly-owned Proginet subsidiary.

Effective immediately, any customer who purchases a RocketStream Station or Server is entitled to unlimited free copies of the RocketStream Client software. This new model allows unlimited expansion of the solution at a low fixed cost,” he concluded.

Pricing & Availability

RocketStream 1.6 is generally available now.

Proginet is providing the free RocketStream Client software to speed adoption of this technology. RocketStream Client transfers files with RocketStream Stations, and RocketStream Servers in real time. Customers may share the RocketStream file transfer acceleration benefits with their business partners at no additional cost.

RocketStream Station Professional is now available at $195 for the Professional version and $295 for the Enterprise version. RocketStream Station transfers files with RocketStream Clients, other RocketStream Stations, and RocketStream Servers in real time. RocketStream Station can also be used to administer and configure a RocketStream Server. The Professional version supports file transfers at up to 10 megabits/second each while the Enterprise version supports unlimited transfer speeds.

RocketStream Server Professional is now available at $995 for the Professional version and $1,995 for the Enterprise version. RocketStream Server runs as a background system task and requires RocketStream Client or RocketStream Server to administer and configure. The Professional version supports up to five concurrent file transfers at up to 10 megabits/second each while the Enterprise version supports up to 500 concurrent file transfers at unlimited transfer speeds.
