SINGAPORE, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Flextronics today announced that it has appointed Lip Bu Tan, a director of Flextronics since 2003, to the Company's Audit Committee. As a result of the recently- announced resignations of Michael Moritz and Patrick Foley, the Company had only two members on its Audit Committee. On October 25, 2005, the Company received a letter from Nasdaq regarding the requirements of Nasdaq Marketplace Rule 4350(d)(2)(A) and noting that the Company had until the earlier of the Company's next annual shareholders' meeting or October 14, 2006 to appoint an additional Audit Committee member. On October 28, 2005, the Company received notice from Nasdaq confirming that with the addition of Mr. Tan to the Audit Committee, the Company is in full compliance with the Nasdaq audit committee requirements.
