View the 2nd Annual "Application Server Shoot-Out"
"If only you could have seen the shock on my face," SYS-CON.TV viewer Micah Parker recalled, as he described the moment he heard the announcement, made live on SYS-CON.TV at the end of our webcast on Friday, that his name had won the video iPod prize drawing that SYS-CON Media offered exclusively to those who registered to view the event live.
Seattle-based Parker (pictured) explained his expression to our photographer: "Because I'm a winner… and winners
smile sarcastically."
He works for a five-year-old private company based in Seattle that offers a comprehensive sales management system delivered via the Web, currently offered in both English and Japanese to serve two of the largest seafood markets in the world.
Like SYS-CON.TV itself, Parker's company aims to use the Web seamlessly to help its customers achieve their business goals.
