The Open Source Community of China has been set up by the China OSS Promotion Union (COPU), China Linux Industry Strategic Alliance and CSIP (Center of Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion) of the Ministry of Information Industry. This newly created organization is 'aimed at creating an atmosphere for open source software development through government guidance, active participation of enterprises and individuals as well as domestic and international cooperation.' |
