LAKEWOOD, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 03/23/11 -- CharityChoice Gift Cards announced an online charity campaign and public voting website with a Facebook APP for Earth Day 2011. The question of who has primary responsibility for protecting the Planet Earth is put to public vote. Voicing of opinions also includes comments and the offering of your own suggestions.
"It is a Divine LAW to protect the Earth."
Playing on the environmental themes of -- Land. Air. Water., visitors are asked how you would begin the sentence ending with ...to protect the Earth; including, "It is a Divine LAW to protect the Earth," "Corporations are responsible for sustaining the LAW to protect the Earth" and "It is up to all of us to be the LAW, and do our part to protect the Earth."
The idea of a Sacred Earth, putting G-d back into the green agenda, often absent in the sustainability and preservation dialogue, is a special feature of this unique Earth Day initiative. "We anticipate a lively and meaningful discussion of the differing philosophies underlying regard for the environment," said Daniel Goodman, President and Co-founder of CharityChoice, "while our Internet platform enables the support of green charities, allowing visitors to take the next step and put their convictions into action."
Companies can register and brand a customized campaign to distribute to their customers, clients and employees, offering great cause-affinity with the environment and sustainability. Sponsorship for a corporate branded landing page is $1,000 donation or by sending charity Earth Day eCards. A selection of breathtaking environmental graphics is offered.
Visitors can participate by sending GivingBuddy donation eCards, for $2 and up, that can be delivered via our Earth Day Facebook APP to your friend's Wall. The GivingBuddy card allows the giver to select a charity to receive a portion of their donation, leaving their Buddy the opportunity to pick another two causes.
