Coenraets is a Senior Technical Evangelist at Adobe, having been an evangelist at Macromedia before the acquisition. Prior to Macromedia, he was the head of Java and J2EE Technical Evangelism at Sybase, where he started working on Java Enterprise projects in 1996.
Before joining Sybase in the US, Christophe held different positions at Powersoft in Belgium, including Principal Consultant for PowerBuilder, and Manager of the Professional Services organization.

Did anyone read this story about Flex and AJAX and how they jive together? It's here: http://ajax.sys-con.com/read/192086.htm. The reason that it's interesting is that Ely Greenfield isn't just a long-time developer at Macromedia/now Adobe, he's actually one of the small group of very smart engineers that designed and developed the Flex SDK. So he reckons it's a both/and world: *both* Flex AND Ajax, not *either* Flex OR Ajax. |
