Fiorano Software announced the release of its updated Fiorano SOA 2006 E (Enhanced) Software Suite. Built on Fiorano s leading Enterprise Service Bus, Fiorano ESB, the Fiorano SOA 2006 was first released in fall 2005 (http://www.fiorano.com/news/pr_fiorano_soa.htm) Fiorano ESB provides availability of services across the SOA Environment with the industry’s only Enterprise Event Process Orchestrator.

The Fiorano SOA 2006 E Platform allows business and IT users to gain a comprehensive view of composing business processes and configuring their supporting business services and IT infrastructure, while simultaneously enforcing policies at the business process level.
The new Capabilities in this Fiorano SOA 2006 E Software pack include:
Improved life cycle management of services and processes. Changes and adjustments to the business process flows are easier than ever.
Event process profile management (single click process translation across Development/QA/ production.
New PDF writer and report generator Services.
Enhanced support for web service deployment and verification.
Optimized Event Processes, with new options for embedding ESB components within distributed ESB servers.
A new terminal for console-based administration of the MQ messaging product.
Categorization and customization of event processes.
Reduced memory requirements for the ESB servers.
Fiorano SOA 2006 is the industry’s first platform that supports both services and an event-based architecture on a single technology platform with a shared component model and common tools for design, development, deployment, security and administration.

Additionally Fiorano announced further enhancements slated for release by summer 2006 to be known as SOA 2006 E2; that would include an integrated toolset featuring FEPO, FSSM, NAT, EVST, and BPEL. Additional capabilities will also include enhanced runtime performance, and reduced memory requirements for event processes using embedded JMS event component. A Native.Net runtime for Windows would also be added, that allows JMS applications using the .NET framework to work in any kind of .NET supported platform thereby enhancing usability and performance.
