LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., April 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Infinite Corporation, a global IT integrator has announced a new program today designed to assist IBM System I (AS/400) ISV's to migrate their applications. This new program provides the toolset to migrate RPG or COBOL applications written for the AS/400 or System/36 environment to be migrated to open platforms. The choices for ISV's include Microsoft Windows Enterprise Server, Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux, Oracle Solaris, and IBM AIX. l
Qualified ISV's for this program will have developed an application or own the source code to an application written for the AS/400 or System/36 in either RPG or COBOL. Infinite has developed a family of products designed to migrate AS/400-based applications to Windows, Linux and UNIX.
"We began this program in Argentina and it has been so successful that we have decided to roll it out globally," said Raquela Kaplan, Marketing Director, Infinite Corporation.
This new program provides the compilers and tools necessary to migrate the applications to an open platform of the ISV's choosing. It also provides up to 4 months of unlimited free online support and migration assistance. Additional licenses and services are available to ISV's qualified for this program at Partner discounted pricing. This program makes qualified ISV's eligible for the Infinite Partner Program.
