WSO2 and Yenlo B.V. today announced a strategic partnership to deliver service-oriented architecture (SOA) and application integration solutions to enterprises based in Western Europe. WSO2 delivers the industry’s most comprehensive middleware platforms for enabling SOA and composite application development and deployment on-premise and in the cloud. Yenlo B.V. brings more than 15 years of expertise in service-oriented solutions for enterprise applications, middleware and database platforms for traditional servers, private clouds, and public clouds. Through the partnership, the growing base of customers in Western Europe using WSO2’s 100% open source middleware can take advantage of best-in-class IT solutions from Yenlo.
Under terms of the agreement, Yenlo will use WSO2’s middleware along with its own enterprise software to provide new and existing customers with solutions for integrating on-premise applications from vendors, such as Oracle and SAP, as well as software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings, such as Salesforce.com. Additionally, WSO2 will provide Yenlo with technical, sales and marketing support to promote SOA adoption and help customers achieve the high availability, high performance, and flexibility they require for IT and business agility.
Yenlo, which is headquartered in The Netherlands, delivers software and services based on architectural expertise in the areas of Java technologies, SOA, business process management (BPM), Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), and enterprise service bus (ESB) servers. WSO2’s award-winning platforms include the WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform and WSO2 Stratos cloud middleware platform, which are based on the same code to enable a seamless migration between on-premise and the cloud. All WSO2 software products are released as open source under the Apache License 2.0.
“With the success of open source software in driving enterprise IT deployments around the world, we are now seeing a greater demand here for open source alternatives next to proprietary middleware. Our partnership with WSO2 is a strategic investment to serve this growing market,” said Ruben van der Zwan, CEO, Yenlo B.V. “At the same time WSO2’s support for heterogeneous SOA environments, both on-premise and in the cloud, perfectly complements our offerings in software development, managed services, and private cloud hosting.”
“As one of The Netherlands’ most trusted and well-known IT service providers, Yenlo will be a strategic partner in helping us to meet the growing demand for WSO2-based solutions throughout the region,” said Jonathan Marsh, vice president of business development and product design. “Yenlo’s ability to offer customers solutions that span both on-premise deployment and managed services fits perfectly with the WSO2 platform’s ability to host applications as standalone applications or in a managed multi-tenant deployment.”
