Server application virtualization and cloud on-boarding pioneer appzero welcomes Giovanni Boschi to its executive leadership team as CTO. As Chief Technology Officer, Giovanni Boschi is responsible for appzero's product direction as well as for working with customers and partners to implement effective solutions.

Commenting on his new position, Giovanni said, "appzero stands at the intersection of cloud adoption and enablement with a solution that automates cloud on boarding and migration of enterprise applications. For the first time, cloud providers and enterprise IT now have a ready path to dramatically increase the volume, speed, and cost-effectiveness of deploying complex enterprise applications to the cloud. Giovanni Boschi is a veteran in the software industry with years of experience developing innovative products for application development and deployment. He comes to appzero from BMC Software, where he served as Chief Architect for BladeLogic and the Data Center Automation product suite, responsible for driving the technical vision of those products into middleware automation, cloud lifecycle and virtualization management.
Earlier, Giovanni was the lead architect of all Sonic products from product inception thru acquisition. He has actively served on boards and expert groups of standards organizations including W3C, OSGi Alliance, OASIS, and OMG. Giovanni studied Mathematics and Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin and Boston University.
