An international software company Halcyon Software, which has its headquarters in Peterborough, UK, has recently announced its company results showing an impressive increase in group revenues of 23% compared to the previous year.

Halcyon Software, a long-established specialist software business in Europe, attributed a major source of growth coming from their recent expansion of their business operations in the USA; the company initially set up American offices in 2008.

Halcyon recently doubled their office space in Philadelphia to accommodate new recruits as a result of successfully gaining market share and receiving the largest order in the company's history from an American media organisation.

The hub of Halcyon's business is its monitoring and automation software which "keeps watch" on vital business systems and reduces IT costs. It is used by large multi-nationals, corporate and public sector data centres as well as small to medium-sized organisations.

Over the last 12 months, despite the economy, revenues have risen across the Halcyon Group including key territories in Europe, USA and Asia Pac.

Emerging interest from Japan, Singapore, China and Malaysia has resulted in an additional increase in turnover of +9% to the half year to December 2011. Halcyon already has customers in the Asia Pac region through an established office in Melbourne, Australia and regional distributors in the Far East but is planning to set up direct offices in Asia later in 2012.
