Quadrant Software, LLC the leader in Document Output Management (DOM), today announced its participation in the COMMON 2012 Annual Meeting and Exposition. Billed as the largest Power Systems-related exposition in the world, the event is the premier forum, providing an environment where the latest solutions and products can be displayed for the entire Power Systems marketplace including IBM i, AIX and Linux. Taking place May 6-9, 2012 at the Disney Land Resort in Anaheim, CA, Quadrant Software will be onsite speaking on and exhibiting the latest in virtualized Fax over IP (FoIP) technology.
Barbara Martinez, director of channels and strategic partners, will be presenting on Sunday, May 6 at 11:30 a.m. PT. Her session titled, “Virtualization and Fax over IP for the IBM i Enterprise,” will highlight FoIP as the next logical step for organizations looking to save money and simplify their management of fax, allowing enterprises to improve server utilization, add flexibility and cut costs, all while streamlining document output management.
“As a response to the economy and the increasingly virtual workforce, many enterprises are turning toward unified communications to save money and consolidate resources,” said Martinez. “My session will discuss how organizations can achieve many business benefits by migrating to FoIP-based document management systems and will offer real world examples of success such as enhanced disaster recovery, simplified management of fax and a reduction of your business’ carbon footprint.”
In addition to Martinez’s speaking session, Quadrant Software will be onsite exhibiting and demonstrating the latest in its FoIP platform – QuadraDocV. Powered by FastFax and running on the industry standard VMware platform, QuadraDocV enables organizations to take full advantage of virtualized environments. It incorporates the SR140 software technology from the leading communications vendor, Dialogic, to integrate with customers’ current telephony systems, eliminating the need for a physical fax card, and is easily deployed in the VMware environment.
