Bsquare Announces Availability of a New DragonBoard Development Platform in Support of Devices Based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon S1 MSM7x27A Processor

Developer Tool Helps Accelerate Application and Component Development, Optimization and Testing Processes

BELLEVUE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/26/12 -- BSQUARE Corporation (NASDAQ: BSQR), a leading enabler of smart, connected devices, today announced general availability of a DragonBoard™ development platform for Android™, which is intended to facilitate development and testing by device makers, application developers and other hardware and software ecosystem suppliers, who are working with devices that run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon™ S1 MSM7x27A processor.

The DragonBoard development platform is a powerful, feature-rich development board that offers exposed connectors, adapters and expansion headers. These features within this particular DragonBoard development platform provide deep levels of development, testing and expansion within a flexible development environment that allow: (i) OEMs to do early prototyping of certain Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7x27A processor-based devices, (ii) component suppliers to integrate their components with Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7x27A processor-based devices and (iii) Android application developers to create innovative applications for the growing open source development community. This DragonBoard development platform, combined with Bsquare products and services, will help OEMs and developers to accelerate their time-to-market for products that are based on devices with Qualcomm's Snapdragon S1 MSM7x27A processor.
