NEWTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/06/12 -- Sonian, the pioneer in cloud-powered email archiving and search, will host its next Mondays in the Cloud event on November 12 at 5:30 p.m. at its headquarters in Newton, MA. Sonian is joining with the Boston OpenStack meetup group for this event, and invites all cloud vendors, cloud enthusiasts and industry influencers to attend.
For this month's event, Kamesh Pemmaraju, Senior Product Manager for Cloud Solutions at Dell, will join Sonian's Director of Technical and Cloud Operations Pete Cheslock to discuss Open Source in the cloud. As a member of the OpenStack community and responsible for Dell's OpenStack-Powered Cloud Solution, which includes Dell's Open Source OpenStack deployer Crowbar, Pemmaraju will provide insights and perspectives into OpenStack's evolution in its two-year history; drivers for customer adoption; and the future outlook. Cheslock will continue the conversation with a discussion about the open source cloud monitoring tool, Sensu, created by Sonian, which for more than a year has made monitoring cloud infrastructure and applications much easier for users.
