SAN MATEO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/06/12 -- Brekeke Software, developer of SIP telephony software for enterprises and service providers, today announced that it has approved MegaPath Corporation, one of the leading providers of managed data, voice, security, and hosted IT services in North America, to deliver and support the company's SIP Trunking solutions. By participating in this validation testing, the companies are ensuring interoperability between MegaPath's SIP Trunking and Brekeke PBX, so customers receive the highest voice quality.
"Today's organizations need voice solutions that they can depend on to effectively conduct business," said John Scarborough, Vice President of Products and Services, MegaPath. "By proactively confirming interoperability between our SIP Trunking offering and Brekeke's PBX, our customers can confidently purchase these services and rest assured that they are receiving the highest-quality solutions."
MegaPath's SIP Trunking provides customers with a substantial cost savings compared to traditional phone services. Voice and data traffic share a single connection and MegaPath's Quality of Service (QoS) features ensure that voice calls remain clear. In addition, customers can overlay hosted features such as Find Me/Follow Me, Visual Voicemail, and Mobility to maximize their voice investment.
With the ability to support more than 2,000 users on Microsoft Windows or Linux platforms, Brekeke PBX delivers a scalable and highly-compatible product for migrating existing applications and services. It also offers customers the ability to take advantage of features like Call Forwarding, Call Monitoring and Ring Groups.
"Our customers rely on us to provide voice solutions that deliver high performance, reliability and flexibility so that their businesses operate at an optimal level," said Shinichi Mitsumata, Chief Technology Officer, Brekeke Software. "To achieve this, we consistently work with our partners to ensure that our products are compatible with other offerings -- streamlining the purchasing process for our customers across the country."
Brekeke Software and MegaPath have prepared a configuration sample to help their respective customers become familiar with the capabilities of this powerful new interoperability.
