ORLANDO, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 11/12/12 -- OpenText Enterprise World 2012 -- Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) previews its latest Brava!® web-based viewing and collaboration software for OpenText Content Server today at Enterprise World (booth #6). IGC, an OpenText Select Partner and leader in viewing, collaboration and redaction technology, will demonstrate new features and capabilities; including the zero-footprint HTML5 client, enhanced Thumbnails module and document merge through the show's conclusion on Nov. 16.
HTML5 Viewer - The Brava Enterprise HTML client gives users a flexible way to securely view and collaborate on virtually any document, image or drawing. The zero-footprint, cross-platform client does not require workstation installation or plug-ins, so users can run the HTML5 viewer on most operating systems -- including PC, Mac, and Linux -- using popular browsers such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox and Chrome. Brava Enterprise also offers ActiveX and Flash clients, so it fits any environment and business need.
Enhanced Thumbnails module - Quickly get pertinent information and a larger preview of a document before deciding to open it. Thumbnail previews provide document information (metadata), summary text and thumbnail images of all pages, not just the first page. Especially useful is the ability to display Brava-generated thumbnails in OpenText Content Server search results, which makes it easier to identify documents at a glance. All of these enhancements increase productivity and efficiency.
Document Merge - Stitch together multiple Content Server-housed documents into a single document, or create new documents by merging multiple documents, rearranging the page order and removing pages where needed. Any combination of file types can be merged, and all through a standard web browser.
Additional highlights of Brava 7.1 for OpenText ECM:
- Brava Changemark Viewer - Use a mobile device to add or reply to comments on a document or drawing within OpenText Content Server.
- Brava 3D Viewer - View, rotate, measure, view cross sections or cut aways and explode 3D models all through a standard web browser.
- Video Markup - Collaborate on video clips by annotating the video with lines and shapes and also adding/replying to threaded discussions.
- Shared Cache - Get enhanced viewing performance, reduced server-side processing and additional failover.
