SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/26/12 -- Embarcadero Technologies announced today that John "JT" Thomas, Director of Product Management, will deliver two talks at this year's DevCon5 conference. JT will join some of the world's most premier thinkers to provide information and solutions for understanding mobile application development exploiting the capabilities of revolutionary HTML5 technology. DevCon5 will be held in San Francisco from Nov. 27 - 29, 2012.
"HTML5-to-Hybrid-to-Native" Session
What: While websites certainly outnumber apps, today's world is becoming more and more about mobile. This session will consider what a company must do in order to deliver its web content to mobile device. JT will offer his expert perspective on when to use web technologies or native or something-in-between. The session will discuss solutions developers can consider to meet the growing demand for a mobile user experience.

John "JT" Thomas, Director of Product Management at Embarcadero Technologies, has more than 15 years of product management and product development experience including hands-on experience with the early versions of Delphi and C++Builder at Borland Software. Previously JT held product management positions at mobile Linux vendor MontaVista Software and at Research in Motion. While at Borland he was a delegate on the ANSI/ISO C++ standards committee. He earned his Computer Science degree from University of California, Santa Cruz and his MBA and MSE from San Jose State University.
