PROVO, Utah, Nov. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Novell today announced program details for its premiere technical conference, BrainShare® 2013. The annual event will consist of 150 interactive sessions, focusing on Novell's unique mobility footprint for the enterprise, which provides organizations with a secure, productive and manageable way to create a social and mobile workforce.
Attendees will gain knowledge and understanding of how Novell's current solutions can aid in this transition, as well as learn how new product releases will address specific business challenges.
Novell experts will conduct a variety of different sessions throughout the five-day event being held February 3-7, 2013, at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sessions will cover a variety of topics ranging from product training to IT solutions for the enterprise. Technical training for beginners to advanced attendees will be available at the event. Key session tracks at BrainShare 2013 include:
- The World Calls It Mobility; We Call It Life: Organizations' computing environments continue to become more complex as they have to support the growing mobile workforce. In this session, attendees will learn about all the Novell technologies that will help mobilize end users without compromising security or control.
- Anytime, Anywhere File Access That's Safe: Most employees are demanding mobile file access and sharing. If organizations take too long to deliver, users will find alternative solutions—whether above or below the IT radar. Attendees will learn how to provide anytime/anywhere mobile file access and sharing that's safe and secure.
- GroupWise Windermere Deep Dive: Attend this session to take a deep dive into what's coming on the web administration front, how to replace ConsoleOne as your administration tool, how to connect GroupWise to Active Directory and much more. Users will also learn about the new capabilities Novell is adding to the clients and WebAccess to keep end users productive and satisfied.
- Embracing BYOD in the Enterprise: Attend this session to understand how, with the right tools and policies, organizations can start down the path to embracing BYOD while learning prudent steps to take to balance productivity with security while minimizing IT burden.
BrainShare attendees will have the opportunity to build their conference agendas and sign up for sessions in advance of the event which will include sessions from Novell, NetIQ® and SUSE. NetIQ sessions will be heavily focused on identity, security, governance, systems and application and workload management. SUSE will be discussing best approaches to Linux in the enterprise.
