dmg :: events has appointed James Drake-Brockman as the Head of EMEA for their Digital Marketing Division. The Digital Marketing Division runs ad:tech, iMedia Summits, iMedia Connection, Digital Collective and CMO Collective, totalling 37 events in 12 countries. He moves from his role of Director, Business Development where he was focused on launching into emerging markets. Drake-Brockman will continue to work on international launches whilst also taking over the portfolio of events that currently run in EMEA.

Drake-Brockman has 14 years trade show experience, specialising in technology events, including 6 years as Event Director of Internet World in London from 2005 to 2010. He has worked on a range of exhibitions including The Windows Show, Windows Enterprise, Linux Expo, WebMaster, WebStrategy as well as launching/chairing conferences including the iMedia Online Retail Summit, The Future Of Social Media and Harnessing The Power of Twitter.
