Ubuntu llega a la telefonía, con una interfaz espléndidamente refinada y con una capacidad completa para PC cuando se acopla a ésta

Canonical anunció hoy una exclusiva interfaz para teléfonos inteligentes para su popular sistema operativo, Ubuntu, que utiliza los cuatro bordes de la pantalla para una experiencia de mayor inmersión. Ubuntu ofrece de manera excepcional a los OEM de teléfonos y a operadores móviles la posibilidad de concentrar teléfonos, las PC y clientes ligeros en un súper móvil de una sola empresa.

“Esperamos que Ubuntu sea popular en el mercado empresarial, permitiendo suministrar a los clientes un dispositivo único y seguro para todas las funciones de PC, de cliente ligero y de teléfono. Ubuntu ofrece opciones convincentes de personalización para partner apps, contenidos y servicios. Los operadores y los fabricantes de equipos originales pueden agregar fácilmente ofertas de su propia marca. El servicio personal en la nube de Canonical, Ubuntu One, proporciona servicios de almacenamiento y de medios de comunicación, intercambio de archivos y un servicio de transacción segura que permite a los socios a integrar sus propias ofertas de servicios con facilidad.

Canonical facilita el desarrollo de teléfonos con Ubuntu.
