Worldwide thin client and cloud connection device manufacturer, VXL, launches an all new range of thin clients.
Celebrating 37 years of thin client terminal manufacturing, VXL introduces two new System on Chip (SoC) models, the K54 & V200, aimed at the virtualised desktop infrastructure (VDI) market and two, flagship, Dual Core, devices the Md and Md+ series (with PCIe slot).
K54 Entry Level SoC Desktop
The K54 incorporates the latest ARM Cortex SoC processor for excellent performance over remote protocols such as RDP, ICA and PCoIP®. The ultra-slim K54 priced at less than $200 is the company’s lowest-ever priced desktop device. Boasting a very low power consumption of less than 5 watts, the K54 meets the carbon footprint requirements of most large enterprises without any sacrifice in performance.
Vtona V200 PCoIP Zero Client
The VMware™ certified Vtona V200 PCoIP® Zero Client delivers a superior remote desktop experience for advanced users ensuring a rich multi-media performance including 3D graphics, CAD / CAM, video and more.
The compact Vtona V200 PCoIP® Zero Client also has no operating system, making it simplicity itself to install as well as manage. Offering users enhanced security, the Vtona V200 is also risk free from viruses / malware and features a very low, 6.5 watts, power consumption, 512 MB memory, four USB’s and dual DVI.
Md and Md+ High Performance Dual Core Desktops
Both Md and Md+ series incorporate a powerful 1GHz Dual Core processor, 2GB RAM and 8GB Flash, a choice of Linux and Windows Embedded operating systems and a formidable array of display and peripheral ports including a minimum of 2 Serial, 1 Parallel and Display and DVI-I ports. The Md+ version offers a PCIe slot allowing for fibre card and multi-display functionality.
All newly announced products come with VXL’s renowned enterprise level management software, XLmanage, and include free lifetime software support, 3 years hardware warranty with optional fourth and fifth years.
