Layer 7 Technologies, a provider of API management and mobilization tools for the new open enterprise, today announced that its SecureSpan Gateway for API Management is now available in AWS Marketplace. AWS Marketplace allows AWS customers to easily find, buy and start using software that they can run on the AWS Cloud.
“Across the globe, Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies, telcos, and a variety of other organizations use Layer 7’s API Gateway to deploy, manage and secure their APIs,” said Dimitri Sirota, co-founder and chief strategy officer at Layer 7. “On Demand is becoming an increasingly common way to deliver software, and this new availability will provide increased flexibility for new and existing customers.”
"We welcome Layer 7 to AWS Marketplace and its growing ecosystem of Red Hat Enterprise Linux partners,” said Sajai Krishnan, General Manager of AWS Marketplace. "Customers will benefit from the Layer 7 SecureSpan Gateway when they provide access via APIs to their applications running on Amazon Web Services.”
As part of the launch, Layer 7’s SecureSpan Gateway will also be compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
As enterprises and organizations everywhere seek to implement an API platform that is both attractive to third-party developers and manageable for their staff to use, they need to create a clear line between what data is provided internally and what third parties can see externally. Through API governance, adaptation and metering, and security, the SecureSpan Gateway easily provides that layer of abstraction, allowing organizations to manage how APIs are accessed, changed, tracked and translated.
The Layer 7 SecureSpan Gateway is available now in AWS Marketplace. Please visit http://amzn.to/YbJFG2 for more information.
