SlickEdit Inc., provider of the most versatile code editors available, announces that the company will exhibit at this year’s Game Developers Conference, which is being held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA from March 25, 2012 to March 29, 2013.
The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the world’s largest professionals-only game industry event. The GDC is the primary forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games gather to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry. The event attracts over 22,500 attendees and is produced by the UBM TechWeb Game Network.
SlickEdit is a multi-language, multi-platform code editor that enables power programmers to create, navigate, modify, and debug code faster with fewer errors. With its mixture of power, speed, and flexibility, SlickEdit is a natural fit for professional game developers facing tight deadlines. At the show, attendees will see hands-on demos of easy project set up, detailed back up history, context tagging and other productivity enhancing features. New features coming out in late spring 2013 will also be on display, including the new MDI layout with multiple split levels and tab groups. Visit SlickEdit at booth 1037 at the conference.
"The gaming industry's constant growth and evolvement makes for an exciting GDC each year," said Rick Lanning, VP of Sales and Marketing for SlickEdit. "The conference allows us to demonstrate SlickEdit's strengths and newest abilities as one of the top programming editors used by game developers all over the world and, in addition, it immerses us into the buzz of everything that is on the horizon for game programming. We are excited to share what we have coming out in our late spring 2013 release with attendees and also to learn their latest interests and programming needs."
