SpikeSource announced the addition of a Java-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution provided by Centric CRM. Centric CRM Spike Certified augments the company's growing line of open source application solutions available to all companies through authorized solution providers, including small and
medium size enterprises (SME).
The partnership results in a tightly integrated CRM software application that is configured, integrated, tested and maintained by SpikeSource for simplified deployment to the SME. SpikeSource is rapidly expanding the breadth and depth of its business application offerings to include CRM, messaging and collaboration, and content management.
Centric CRM Spike Certified is a robust, enterprise-class open source CRM solution that helps companies acquire, retain, service and sell to customers. Centric CRM Spike Certified includes all common CRM modules and adds significant capabilities such as Web site authoring, enterprise content management, project and document management, customer surveys, and advanced help desk functions.
"Centric CRM is committed to running well on any computing environment, large or small," said Michael Harvey, CMO, Centric CRM. "The SpikeSource approach to the SME market fits well with our strategy, and we're excited to work with them to deliver our world-class CRM solution to SMEs via Spike's solution providers. VARs and systems integrators can provide the implementation, customization and ongoing support services the end customer requires."
SpikeSource offers Spike Certified application solutions for content management, messaging and collaboration, and CRM, which are fully integrated, tested and configured with open source infrastructure, making them ready for customization and deployment. All SpikeSource solutions are sold with Spike Net, a software update, maintenance and support service that allows resellers to earn ongoing subscription revenue, and delivers proactive solution-specific support.
