SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/21/13 -- SkySQL, the trusted provider of open source database solutions, and MariaDB, created by MySQL®-database-creator Michael (Monty) Widenius and its employees, today unveiled the agenda and list of speakers for next month's second annual MySQL® and Cloud Database Solutions Day. Speakers from Calpont, Canonical, Codership, Craigslist, MariaDB, OpenStack, and SkySQL, round up a full day of tutorials and keynotes on all things MySQL and MariaDB databases for enterprise and cloud.
The free event begins with a joint keynote by Monty Widenius and Patrik Sallner of SkySQL, followed by two specialized tracks -- Database and Cloud. The two tracks feature detailed talks and tutorials from top companies in open source on subjects specifically designed for the MySQL database and related technologies, as well as best practices for deploying applications in the cloud.
The MySQL® and Cloud Database Solutions Day also includes a catered lunch and afternoon keynotes by Jeremy Zawodny of Craiglist & Kyle McDonald from Canonical on behalf of the OpenStack Foundation.
