The OpenClovis ASP consists of an extensive set of management software modules running on a distributed, model-driven core infrastructure. Modules may be selected to best match the application and platform requirements. The OpenClovis ASP can be distributed across blades, shelves, and even racks, creating a seamless high availability platform and system management environment across heterogeneous network element building blocks.
"Wireless communications providers are converging their voice and data traffic onto a common network to support feature-rich wireless services such as interactive 3D gaming, mobile music, mobile television and video telephony and voice," said V.K. Budhraja, CEO of OpenClovis. "OpenClovis' robust platform will help Airvana satisfy carrier demands for interoperability, manageability and affordability, while speeding its products to market in record time."
Wireless service providers such as Verizon Wireless (USA), Sprint PCS (USA), Bell Mobility (Canada), and Telus (Canada) integrate Airvana products into their networks, and Airvana technology is an integral element of solutions provided by telecommunications systems providers such as Nortel.
