Extreme Networks, Flextronics and Oracle Join the OpenDaylight Project

39 Member Companies Now Participating in the Industry's Largest Open SDN and NFV Effort

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/05/14 -- The OpenDaylight Project, a community-led and industry-supported open source platform to advance Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), today announced that Extreme Networks, Flextronics and Oracle are joining the project to more quickly bring to the industry an open, common platform for SDN and NFV. The community and code base continue to mature as the project prepares for its second software release, Helium, due out this fall.
