SugarCRM Honored for CRM Excellence and Innovation By CRM Magazine

SugarCRM Inc., the company that enables businesses to create extraordinary customer relationships with the most innovative and affordable CRM solution in the market, today announced it continues to gain industry recognition for its Sugar product portfolio—this time with industry awards from CRM Magazine, part of DestinationCRM.com. SugarCRM amassed top recognition across five categories of the 2014 CRM Market Awards, including its customer Redglaze Group, who was honored with the acclaimed 2014 CRM Elite award for its use of Sugar and impressive ROI across the entire organization.

Awarded by the editors of CRM Magazine, the five DestinationCRM.com honors highlight overall excellence and innovation in CRM. For the 2014 Market Awards, judges evaluated nominees based on company direction, depth of product functionality, customer satisfaction and cost. SugarCRM was named a “Leader” in three categories — “Enterprise CRM Suite,” “Midmarket CRM Suite” and “Small Business CRM Suite” — as well as the “One to Watch” in the “Sales Force Automation” category.

The 2014 CRM Elite title was given to four companies that made wise CRM solution choices to achieve measurable results. Architectural and engineering group Redglaze Group made the cut, with its Sugar deployment. A diverse organization, Redglaze Group has many disparate types of data, and its former CRM solution simply couldn’t scale with the business. The company sought an advanced CRM platform that could deliver value to many individuals throughout the organization. After implementing Sugar, Redglaze derived a 30 percent increase in workload efficiency and a 60 percent decrease in server space use. Improvements on the back-end were not the only benefits; Redglaze also saw significantly streamlined sales and marketing efforts. By June 2014, the company reported a near 75 percent adoption rate across the entire company — a testament to SugarCRM’s innovative and highly flexible solution.

In the “Open-Source CRM” category, SugarCRM took the coveted “Winner” title, indicating the highest overall score compared with its peers. SugarCRM has, in fact, been the industry leader every year that the open-source category has been included. According to Brent Leary, cofounder and partner of CRM Essentials and one of the many analysts and experts consulted in the DestinationCRM.com awards, “Even though SugarCRM has moved beyond being viewed solely as open-source CRM to being a leader in the industry in general, they are still the measuring stick if you want an open-source solution."
