European qooxdoo Expert To Speak at AJAX World 2008 East

Andreas Ecker leads a team of engineers who are dedicated full-time to qooxdoo development

Andreas Ecker, the project leader behind one of the most comprehensive and innovative Open Source AJAX frameworks, qooxdoo, is going to be speaking later this month in New York City at AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2008 East.

At 1&1 Internet AG (http://1and1.com ), one of the biggest Web hosts worldwide, Ecker leads a team of engineers who are dedicated full-time to qooxdoo development. With over twelve years experience, he enjoys leveraging the power of cross-browser applications and will be bringing his expertise to bear in his AJAXWorld technical session on creating next-generation AJAX Applications with qooxdoo.

A typical qooxdoo application is created by leveraging the integrated development tools and the client-side programming model based on object-oriented JavaScript. Since no HTML, CSS nor DOM knowledge is needed, developers can fully concentrate on creating application classes without worrying about low-level cross-browser issues.

The March event features six content-rich tracks:
  • Enterprise RIAs
  • Rich-Web Tools & Case Studies
  • Web 2.0 & Social Applications
  • Enterprise Web 2.0 & Mashups
  • iPhone Developer Summit
  • Aspects of RIA Software
