New York City's "IBREA Brain Education Day" recognizes Brain Education's pioneering work in tapping into the brain's unlimited potential and the power of Brain Education to "promote the study of brain awareness and its potential to improve the human condition." The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene expressed appreciation to IBREA for helping New Yorkers "live healthy, happy lives" and "find peace of mind and well-being." The proclamation coincided with a seminar on "The Role of Brain Education in Global Mental Health," held at the United Nations. Organized and hosted by Ilchi Lee, this seminar was co-sponsored by IBREA, the Korea Institute of Brain Science (KIBS, a NGO with consultative status at the UN), the NGO Committee on Mental Health, and the NGO Section, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, United Nations. Featured speakers included Dr.
IBREA supports the UN's Millennium Development Goals through research dissemination and outreach programs. IBREA has co-hosted multiple conferences on Brain Education with the United Nations. Approximately one million people around the world have benefitted from Brain Education training.
