Digg This!
It looks like Kim Polese’s SpikeSource operation has gotten
a new lease on life. At least it’s gotten another $10 million, this infusion
coming from Intel, which is evidently trying to protect its initial investment
back in 2005.
Anyway the open source software verification company is now
going to do software testing and validation for Intel’s Software Partner
Program as what Intel calls its Certified Solutions program.
Initially it’s an early adopter program that should broaden
out later this year.
Testing will be against a specific set of criteria that
include security, performance, interoperability, maintainability and
optimization for Intel.
Intel, by the way, also has a new C++ Software Development
Tool Suite for Linux Supporting MIDs.
