Exadel announced Exadel dVision, the company’s Rich Internet
Application for on-demand access to enterprise data stored across multiple data
sources, has been certified for MySQL Enterprise 5.0. As a MySQL Enterprise
Certified Partner, Exadel’s new enhanced support for the MySQL open source
database software provides full integration between dVision and MySQL
Enterprise.
Exadel dVision provides business users with complete access
to their vital collective intelligence wherever they have Web access,
eliminating pressures on IT resources and enabling on-the-fly decision-making
based on real-time, not historical, business data. Its Web 2.0 user interface
simplifies the information access process and presents a unified,
multi-dimensional view of the most up-to-date data in the enterprise in a
familiar spreadsheet-like format. Drag- and-drop spreadsheet creation tools
enable users to easily visualize and analyze complex data and create reports
that can then be shared in collaboration with colleagues.
"We are pleased that Exadel has joined the MySQL MECA
Partner Program and has certified dVision for MySQL Enterprise," said
Nicolas Pujol, senior manager of MySQL Worldwide Alliances & Channels, Sun
Microsystems. "Exadel has a unique focus on building Web 2.0 tools to give
business users rapid access to the data they need to remain agile in today's
business climate."
"Companies today, especially small to mid-size
businesses, rely on their ability to make informed decisions quickly and accurately
to remain agile and maintain their competitive advantage," said Fima Katz,
CEO of Exadel. "Exadel dVision enables users to access their data in real
time, directly from their databases, so that they can analyze their information
at the precise moment they need to make a decision."
dVision builds upon Exadel’s new approach of leveraging the
Web 2.0 intersection of analytics and business intelligence to provide everyday
business users with continuous, seamless access and complex analysis of their
data, wherever it resides. For additional information and to see an online demo
